At Spoken Word Children’s Therapy, we strive to be more than just a provider as we become a dedicated partner in each child's developmental journey. For over 10 years, our Charleston-based practice has had the privilege of transforming thousands of lives through expert speech and occupational therapy that is delivered right to our patient’s doorstep.

History

Lauren’s vision of empowering children through evidence-based therapy became a reality in 2013 with the founding of Spoken Word in Charleston. Starting with a focus on speech therapy, the practice grew to encompass occupational therapy in 2021, reflecting a holistic approach to children's communication and functional needs. Today, Spoken Word Children's Therapy continues to thrive as a testament to the entire team’s commitment to helping children communicate effectively, participate fully, and live their best lives.
