THERAPY PROCESSES
Evaluations
The evaluation is the first step in the treatment process. Your Speech Language Pathologist and or Occupational Therapy practitioner will utilize both informal and formal assessment measures to gather information about your child's strengths and areas of improvement. They will also gather information from you about your child's past and present abilities. The evaluation will take place at your child's home, daycare, or preschool.
Post Evaluation
After the evaluation, your Speech Language Pathologist and or Occupational Therapy practitioner will review the results, and write an evaluation report within a few days. Once the report is completed, your therapist will meet with you to discuss her findings, and a recommended treatment plan if necessary. This is a great time to ask questions.
Therapy Treatments
Our highly skilled Speech and Occupational Therapy practitioners are trained to treat a wide range of disorders using evidence-based treatment techniques.
Therapists will utilize the initial evaluation to develop and prescribe a customized therapy treatment plan for each child.
