Janet Rogers, M.S., CCC-SLP
Janet Rogers is a Speech Language Pathologist with a passion and concern for producing expedient outcomes. With multiple areas of expertise/areas of specialization such as: Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric NeuroRehabilitation; Early Intervention; Birth-to-Three; also, Positioning and Handling skills; Treatment of Swallowing (or Dysphagia) Impairment; and Esophageal Motility Disorders quality outcomes are targeted.
Janet’s areas of expertise include: Tracheostomy and Gastrostomy Tube Management; and broad range of skill as necessary for evaluation and management of Traumatic Brain Injury.
Her secondary areas of expertise include: Neonatal Development: Suck/Swallow/Breathe; and Feeding/Swallowing Development. Swallowing Evaluation skills such as: Bedside swallowing evaluations, MBS, or VFSS are utilized.
Finally, she has an additional passion including: provision of education RE: Speech, Language, and Cognitive intervention strategies within an academic environment to students in grades K-12. Providing mentoring and supervision to graduate students, CFY candidates and professional educators.
